Components of an Intelligent Energy Storage System
PCS
The bidirectional AC/DC converter enables two-way power conversion between DC and AC. It supports both battery charging and the export of stored energy to the transmission or distribution grid.
Battery System
The system consists of safe, efficient, and long-life lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. The cells are connected in series to form battery modules, while multiple modules are further connected in series to form battery clusters.
Battery Management System (BMS)
The system provides effective protection against overcharging, over-discharging, and overcurrent. At the same time, cell balancing functions ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the entire system.
Energy Management System (EMS)
The system monitors operational data, manages operating strategies, records historical data, and tracks the overall system status, ensuring optimized and reliable operation.
Island Mode Operation
The system is capable of off-grid operation in the event of a grid outage, ensuring continuous and autonomous power supply.
HVAC System
The HVAC system is configured to maintain an optimal operating temperature, maximizing the lifetime and efficiency of the energy storage system.
