Solarity BG monitors three open calls supporting PV, battery storage and energy efficiency in the target regions
Solarity BG actively monitors current programmes and funding opportunities for the deployment of photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage solutions (BESS) and energy efficiency measures across the target regions.
This overview highlights three open calls under the “Regions in Growth Programme” 2021–2027, focusing on the Just Transition and long-term sustainable regional development.
🔹 BG16FFPR003-4.007 – Pilot initiatives for energy communities and energy efficiency in public buildings
Programme: Regions in Growth Programme 2021–2027
Application period: 02 Dec 2025 – 05 Mar 2026 (17:00)
Eligible regions (Just Transition territories):
-
Stara Zagora District – including the eligible municipalities within the Maritsa Basin;

Pernik District;
-
Kyustendil District;
-
as well as the designated adjacent municipalities included in the Territorial Just Transition Plans, in accordance with the call conditions and the published annex in ISUN 2020.

🔹 BG16FFPR003-4.014 – Component 2: Energy communities and renewable energy technologies
Programme: Regions in Growth Programme 2021–2027
Application period: 02 Dec 2025 – 05 Mar 2026 (17:00)
Eligible regions (Just Transition territories):
This call applies to the same Just Transition territories under the programme, namely:

Pernik District;
-
Kyustendil District;
including the eligible municipalities within these districts, as specified in the Territorial Just Transition Plans and the call guidelines.

🔹 BG16FFPR003-4.011 – Support for PV systems and energy storage for SMEs
Programme: Regions in Growth Programme 2021–2027
Application period: 19 Dec 2025 (11:00) – 24 Mar 2026 (17:00)
Eligible regions (Just Transition territories):
The call targets micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating within:

Stara Zagora District (including municipalities in the Maritsa Basin);

Pernik District;
-
Kyustendil District;
as well as selected municipalities from neighbouring districts included within the scope of the Territorial Just Transition Plans (e.g. Yambol, Sliven, Haskovo, and specific municipalities explicitly listed in the application guidelines).
