“This is the largest project of this type of batteries worldwide and represents a significant breakthrough in the commercial application of solid-state batteries.”
Narada Power has announced the successful signing of a massive energy storage project with a total capacity of 2.8 GWh, utilizing entirely 314 Ah semi-solid-state batteries developed independently by the company. This is the largest project of its kind worldwide and represents a significant breakthrough in the commercial application of solid-state batteries
The project comprises three independent energy systems in the Greater Bay Area:
-
Shenzhen – 1.2 GWh
-
Shanwei – two projects of 800 MWh each solaritybg.com
Once operational, the systems are expected to utilize over 1 billion kWh of new energy annually. They will greatly enhance the region’s capacity to integrate renewable energy sources and will reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 1 million tonnes per year.
At the technical core of the project are the 314 Ah semi-solid-state batteries, which employ an oxide solid-liquid hybrid technology combined with a high-temperature polymer separator. This design delivers exceptional safety, longevity, and cycle stability. Narada Power is a pioneer in developing solid-state batteries in China and continues to innovate, now working on a 783 Ah ultra-high-capacity battery, achieving significant advances in both energy density and safety. solaritybg.com
This giga-watt-hour level application of solid-state batteries:
-
Confirms Narada’s technical capabilities
-
Sets a new standard for safe energy systems
-
Improves efficiency in megacities and regions highly dependent on renewables
Key Partnership for an Energy Future!
We are proud of Narada Power’s projects, and as their official partner we have the opportunity to offer the full range of engineering and technical solutions.
Our company is a pioneer in the field of industrial energy storage systems, having implemented the first BESS system in Bulgaria. Currently, the company is deploying projects with a total capacity exceeding 200 MWh.
For some of our clients, grid consumption has been reduced by up to 90%, thanks to the effective combination of battery systems, renewable energy sources, and intelligent management through the Visible Energy software.
