The financing procedure for “Construction of new RES for own consumption” has been opened
The purpose of the procedure is to provide grants for the construction of renewable energy sources (RES) for own consumption, combined with local energy storage facilities, to encourage the transition of the private sector to environmentally friendly activity.
Eligible candidates are micro, small, medium-sized enterprises, enterprises carrying out activities in the field of industry and services are also eligible, and these enterprises must be registered no later than 31.12.2019. Batteries with a total minimum capacity (in kWh) of storage with a duration of at least 2 (two) hours for at least 50% of the installed power of the photovoltaic system, or batteries with a total minimum capacity (in kWh) of storage with a duration of at least 4 (four) hours for at least 25% of the installed capacity of the photovoltaic system.
It is planned to build new photovoltaic installations up to 1 MW for the production of energy from renewable sources for own consumption in combination with local energy storage facilities (batteries).
The maximum percentage of the granted aid is from 35% to 50% depending on the category of enterprise and the place of implementation of the investment, the budget for the procedure is BGN 200,000,000. The minimum amount of the requested grant funding for an individual proposal for the implementation of an investment is BGN 75,000., and the maximum is BGN 1,000,000.
The submission of the project proposal is carried out entirely electronically by filling in an application form and submitting the form and accompanying documents through the Information System for the Mechanism (ISM) – the Information System for the Management and Monitoring of the EU Structural Instruments in Bulgaria (ISUN 2020), section “National Recovery and Resilience Plan”, only with the use of a valid Qualified Electronic Signature (KEP), through the “E-application” module at the following Internet address: https://eumis2020.government.bg
