The function Smart-Boost enables to add the inverter power to another source, like for instance a genset or the shorepower, even in case of asymetric loads. It is possible to add an Xtender to almost any other existing inverter in order to increase the power available.

A simple energy system on-board is often necessary to power the AC voltage users, while the vehicle or the boat is away from the electrical grid (port, garage, camping…). In that case the energy is stored in the battery, which is actually charged by power sources on-board, like generator, solar generator, wind turbine, alternator or a combination of them. Studer Innotec offers the range of products that secure the management and the conversion of this energy, while securing an optimal supply of the appliances on-board.
